HOW DOES KYBELLA™ WORK?

Kybella™ is an injection of a naturally occurring substance in the body called deoxycholic acid. This acid causes a permanent breakdown of fat cells.

RECOVERY TIME & SIDE EFFECTS

After a Kybella™ treatment, a client can expect mild to moderate bruising and some swelling. These can last for up to 5-10 days after the treatment.

RESULTS

Studies have shown significant and permanent reduction in fat deposits under the chin.

    S. Thetics Med Spa will determine the number of injection needed based on patient's personal body type and size of the area to be treated.

  • 02. Prepare Kybella

    The Kybella™ injection is prepared in a sterile environment.

  • 03. Mark Treatment Areas

    The affected areas are marked for precise injection purposes.

  • 04. Contour the Double Chin

    Kybella™ is injected into the affected area, which destroys fat cells and prevents the area from carrying fat cells in the future.

  • 05. Post Care Instructions

    The patient will receive post-care instructions and set up follow-up appointments/injections, if applicable.

  • An ideal CoolSculpting candidate are individuals who have areas of unwanted fat, especially those that are resistant to diet and exercise. People who are within 30 lbs of their ideal body weight, tend to get the best results.

  • CoolSculpting is a body sculpting treatment, not a weight loss treatment. People who are obese or morbidly obese are normally not good candidates.

  • Most people feel minor discomfort during the first 5 minutes of the treatment and the final 10 minutes of the treatment. This is very tolerable and no medication is required.
