Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tarryn and I’m a St. Louis native, book worm, dog lover, and the receptionist/newest member of the AesthetiCare of Lawrence family. I started with the medical spa in April and immediately realized I had the skincare knowledge of a 12-year-old boy. You think I’m exaggerating, right? Well, for the last 5 years I had worked with all male coworkers at an electronics recycling company and then a Lawrence internet start-up. Think… tech guys glued to their monitors, not exactly the type of environment that motivated me to be proactive about skin health. Thankfully this office is full of educated professionals who have been more than happy to share their expertise with me.
As some of you may know, AesthetiCare Med Spa has been the only premier medical spa here in Lawrence since 2012. We offer a wide range of services and treatments such as customized facials, full body waxing, chemical peels, medical microdermabrasion, advanced laser treatments that target sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, and acne, facial injections for wrinkles, coolsculpting for fat reduction and body contouring, tattoo removal, and the list goes on. Because we have a medical director on staff we are able to provide advanced treatments and our passionate nurses and estheticians work hard so that you leave our office with healthy, radiant skin you can be proud of!
The idea behind starting this blog is to educate clients about our services, explore new ideas, products and techniques, and give you a private glimpse into our practice. Since I am the resident skincare-newbie I’m inviting you to follow along with me as I learn from the ground up. Over the next few weeks I’ll be introducing you to the rest of our staff and delving into some of our more popular treatments, but ultimately we want this to be interactive and to provide you with content YOU want to read. Your input, as a client, is invaluable to us so please comment or email (email@example.com) with any questions you may have or topics you’d like us to post about. Until next time, remember…. Skin care, Body care, We care.
